Ex-MP gets life in jail for RTI activist’s murder

Besides handing out life terms, CBI judge K M Dave imposed varying fines totalling Rs 60 lakh on each of the convicted people. Solanki and his nephew Pratap, alias Shiva Solanki, have been ordered to pay Rs 15 lakh each. Jethava’s widow will get Rs 5 lakh out of that amount while Rs 3 lakh each will go to their two children.
