15 Pakistan Rangers killed in retaliatory firing by India, says BSF

The (BSF) Border Security Force said Friday, 15 Pakistan Rangers have been killed in retaliatory firing by India along the international border. The BSF Border Security Force said Pakistani security forces are pushing militants into India’s side as it was successful in foiling 2 infiltration bids in recent days.

“A civilian has been killed in Pakistani firing in Khor belt,” the Jammu district collector said.

Earlier today, Pakistan continued violating the ceasefire with firing and mortal shelling on Indian posts and civilian areas along the Line of Control and international border in districts of Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri. Heavy firing is being exchanged between the two countries along the border resulting in casualties on both sides.

As Pakistani troops heavily shelled 5 sectors along LoC and IB in J&K in which one (BSF) Border Security Force jawan died and 13 other civilians were injured On Thursday, a Pakistani Ranger was killed and another injured in retaliatory firing by Border Security Force (BSF).

On October 21, (BSF) Border Security Force killed seven Pak rangers and a terrorist opposite to Hiranagar sector in Kathua, in which one (BSF) Border Security Force jawan was injured. Since the surgical strikes by army on terror launch pads in PoK on September 28-29, 5 Indians, including four security personnel, have been killed and 34 injured in ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
