'We're Trying to Clean Congress' Mess,' Says BJP On PNB Scam

Lucknow:  Continuing the ruling BJP’s counter-offensive from the Congress about the Rs 11,000-crore PNB fraud circumstance, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday questioned the Congress to reveal the conditions under which the Allahabad Bank formal Dinesh Dubey was pressured to quit.

Mr Dubey, a previous director of the Allahabad Bank, experienced yesterday claimed that the Congress-led UPA could have stopped India’s biggest lender rip-off again in 2013 when he experienced flagged considerations about loans to Gitanjali Gems, a person of the providers becoming investigated by the CBI in the Punjab National Bank fraud circumstance.

“The Congress didn’t do what it was necessary… We are executing it,” Ms Sitharaman declared.
