JAMMU: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has explained that the construction of civilian residences adjacent to Military camps “with permission” from authorities is a difficulty.

“Civil constructions are using place around the boundary walls (of Military camps across the state) and it is acquiring difficult to take out these constructions for the reason that these are using place with permission,” she explained to reporters yesterday.

“I am finding out the situation in the total state and will certainly occur out with a alternative.”

Sitharaman was in Jammu on Tuesday to go to the people today hurt in Saturday’s attack on an Military camp in Sunjuwan by Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terrorists primarily based across the border.
