SC refuses to stay UPPSC mains exam | India News


NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court docket on Thursday refused to stay the UP Public Services Commission mains evaluation slated for June 18 and set aside the Allahabad higher court docket purchase for a re-evaluation of answer sheets of the preliminary examination.

A family vacation bench of justices U U Lalit and Deepak Gupta authorized the attraction of UPPSC towards the higher court docket purchase. The bench dismissed a batch of petitions by some college students, who experienced demanded a stay of the mains evaluation saying UPPSC has not complied with the higher court docket purchase.

“We let the attraction of the UPPSC and set aside the higher court docket purchase. The petitions seeking stay of mains evaluation are dismissed,” the bench reported.
