Hafiz Saeed’s House Arrest By 90 Days || New Delhi || ThePoliticalIndia: According to the media report, “On Sunday, Pakistan authorities extend the period of house arrest for Hafiz Saeed by 90 days.”

The orders were issued under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, The ministry defended their detention, in a written reply to the court on 20 April.

“The house arrest of Hafiz Saeed, Abdur Rehman Abid, prof malik Zafar Iqbal and Abdullah Ubaid for another 3 months,” The government has decided.

ANI Reported citing a Pakistani Official, Hafiz Saeed’ house arrest has been extended by 3 months.

Earlier in year government put Hafiz and the other four under house arrest for their involvement in the terror attack. The house arrest was made for a period of 3 months.

Hafiz and his other 4 sides have filed a petition in the High Court of Lahore challenging his detention. The government detained them without any legal justification.

He has a bounty of $10 million on his head for his role in terror activities.

After the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, Hafiz was put under the house arrest but he was freed by a court in 2009.
