Noel Gallagher discards any trace of Oasis sound in new album


LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Previous Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher embarked on a new sort of resourceful journey with his most current album “Who Designed the Moon?” with his Higher Traveling Birds band.

The British musician labored with Northern Irish producer David Holmes, who informed Gallagher not to carry any pre-composed songs to their sessions.

“Every time it started off to sound a little bit like Oasis, he (Holmes) would halt me what I was carrying out and say ‘You’ve done all that in advance of. Attempt one thing distinctive,’” Gallagher, 50, informed Reuters Tv.

“I wrote people songs. No person else wrote them… I wrote them, I manufactured them, I arrived up with all the pieces.”
