In Agra, 2 Linemen Electrocuted To Death While Fixing Power Connection

Agra:  Two staff members of the Uttar Pradesh electrical energy division were electrocuted to dying on Sunday in a village in Agra when they were hoping to deal with large pressure wires, police stated.

Locals in Nagla Katela village of Kheragarh block alleged the electrical energy was abruptly resumed when the linemen were hoping to deal with ability connection even as the shut down was taken on record.

Numerous angry villagers resorted to protests after the fatalities of the ability division staff members and alleged that police did not respond with urgency to the make any difference. They also stated the ambulance provider did not get there on time irrespective of producing various calls. The protesting villagers demanded compensation for the victims and arrest of the staff members of Dakshinanchal Vidhyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (DVVNL) officers.

In the protests that lasted for above two several hours, a roadways bus was weakened and a DVVNL formal was crushed up. Law enforcement stated it experienced use “delicate force” to pacify the protesters.

Legislator Mahesh Goyal assured the villagers that action would be taken from the men and women who begun the ability offer.
